Nixie is a creator of happy moments. It was built in 1972 and is very easy to navigate. Its width makes it very comfortable and the roof hatch that opens fully lets in the sunshine. Windows all along the side of the boat make it light and airy in the summer, and they seal shut easily to stay warm with the central heating throughout the boat in the winter. Svanen is a steel replica Dutch Barge built for us by Piper (UK) at the end of 2018. We have lived on it permanently for nearly four years, but we are now selling for health reasons.
