Miss Joana originally built in 1950's as a River Supply Tender.
I fitted her out as a live aboard 10 years ago and have stayed very comfortably aboard with my family.
What she lacks in size is made up in beauty and character, an extremely joyful little boat.
Miss Joana spent the winter in dry dock having her hull replated and was relaunched mid March with a New Hull Survey and New Boat Safety Certificate.
Not only have we given the outside a lot of work but the entire interior has a little make over with new lining in some areas and some fresh paint.
As she stands today ... read more

Following her launch, in 1939, we understand that this sturdy vessel was immediately requisitioned for war time duties by the Admiralty. After serving as a fleet tender through the war, she was then reverted to her original role as an MFV, operating from Buckie, Wick and Peterhead.
In the mid 70's, she was retired from her fishing role and converted for leisure. In 2016, the current owners brought her down from the Clyde, under her own steam. They stripped her out, repaired some of the decking framework and removed some of the internal bulkheads, ready to begin their own conversion. Howeve... read more

TIme to move on to new adventures! With real sadness we have decided to part with our intended dream vessel due to a change in circumstances.
