Aries shell was constructed in 2010, by XR&D, and she has been engineered and fitted by myself, with some joinery by Greg Birkett. She is an 83% scale ‘representation’ of a 'River Class' Leeds Liverpool Short boat but with steel superstructure and modern facilities. There are berths for up to five. She is gas free, with a Dickinson diesel cookstove and electric appliances (combination oven, induction hob, kettle etc.).
